The Temco SPM1-100AC toroidal power meter is the perfect choice to trigger the Power Boost functionality and optimize the charge of your electric vehicle. It is a single-phase power meter thats supports power up to 100 amps. The Temco SPM1-100AC will detect the power consumed in order not to exceed the maximum power hired in the installation and avoid tripping the automatic main switch (causing a power shutdown) or surprises at the end of the month due to unhired consumption. This way, you will be able to control your home’s total energy consumption to allocate the right amount to your electric car charge. The power meter can increase the charging speed when there is more power available (for example, at night) or adjust it according the consumption of your appliances. An STP Cat 5e or higher cable is required to connect it to the Wallbox charger. You must use 4 wires and the braid must be grounded next to the charger.
